Geoff Laughton Presents Going Beyond Your (Perceived) Limits With Scout Wilkins

Vrinda Pendred has been dreaming up stories since the age of 3 and writing them since age 6. She majored in English with Creative Writing at Brunel University and went on to tutor English part-time alongside her day job. In 2007, she contacted a publisher dealing solely in literature about conditions such as Tourette Syndrome and OCD, inquiring whether they would be interested in her work. From that conversation, Conditional Publications was born: a home for writers dealing with neurological conditions that Vrinda founded. Earlier this year, Vrinda and about 20 other writers and artists published “Check Mates,” the first ever collection of fiction, poetry, and artwork about Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. By its second day of release, in May 2010, it rocketed to the second-best-selling short fiction anthology on Amazon. Vrinda will be sharing about the book, her journey to getting it published, and the memoir she is now working on regarding life with Schizo-Affective Disorder. http://www.conditionalpublications.com
